Fuel Efficient Cars
Nowadays many of the world’s largest car manufacturers are making huge advancements in producing more fuel efficient cars. There are many advantages to having fuel efficient cars. In Ireland our government introduced cheaper road tax in order to encourage people to drive more fuel efficient cars. Furthermore people are now more conscious of becoming greener and reducing their carbon footprint.
With advancements in modern technology it is getting easier to go green. Honda are one of the companies leading the way to making a car almost carbon neutral. They have helped shape the future of driving with their Honda FCX Clarity is the first hydrogen in the world to go into full production.
Currently in California they are testing the vehicle and in tests it can travel an estimated 270 miles on a full tank. It can travel speeds of up to 160 kmph and can achieve up to 110 km per gallon. The car is proving popular and BMW and General Motors are testing their own hydrogen vehicles at the moment – so watch this space!
